Agility is a fantastic sport for active dogs (and owners!) in which they complete a course made up of various obstacles such as jumps, tunnels, seesaw, weaves and more. Agility is a fun activity to build connection with your dog, work on focus and listening skills and is great mental and physical stimulation.
The emphasis of our training classes is FUN and I try and create a friendly, supportive space for both dogs and owners to enjoy.
Our agility classes are held at our training field at The Balloon Tree, Gate Helmsley.
have-a-go agility classes
To celebrate the launch of embark, i will be offering some taster agility sessions for those that would like to see what it’s all about before joining one of our future courses. we will work on some FUN agility skills as well as introduce the dogs to the agility equipment.
these classes are for dogs over 6 months OF AGE, no previous training required. dogs must be comfortable around other dogs and people to attend.
The classes are 1 hour long and are held at our training field at the balloon tree, Stamford bridge road. the class is £10 per dog.
INTRODUCTION TO AGILITY
This is the course for all beginners and it teaches you the foundation skills to start your agility training. We work on the following skills:
Rewards and MOTIVATION
Focus on the handler
Introduction to jump skills
Tunnels
Weaves
This course is suitable for dogs over 6 months of age. Dogs must be comfortable around OTHER dogs and people to attend this course.
The course is 5 weeks and costs £90

AGILITY PROGRESSION
Once you have completed our introduction course you can move on to our progression course (if your dog is over 1 year old)
We work on the following skills:
Progressing jump, weaves and tunnel skills
Introduction of contact equipment (see saw, a-frame and dog walk)
Wing wraps and crosses
Putting together sequences of equipment
This course is suitable for dogs over 12 months of age. Dogs must be comfortable around OTHER dogS and people to attend this course.
The course is 5 weeks and costs £90

AGILITY CANINE CLUB
Once you have completed our introduction and progression agility courses, you and your dog may be invited to join our Canine Club sessions if your dog has progressed to a certain skill level. These are classes which I run regularly throughout the month where we work on different agility courses to progress your training.
AGILITY 121 SESSIONS
If you or your dog would prefer to train on your own or you would like to book a session to try agility before booking onto one of our courses, we offer 121 agility training sessions.
