Fun “Barn Hunt” Scent Work workshop
Barn hunt is a fun dog sport to get your dog using their brains and their noses! typcially dogs will search a barn envirnoment in the search for hidden rat tubes. in this workshop, we will teach the dogs to search for scented toy rats (no real rats here!) hidden amongst hay bales and other objects. this is a great activity to test your dogs searching skills, give them lots of mental stimulation and most of all, have lots of fun!
please note, the workshop is held in our training field, not in a barn.
suitable for dogs of any age but must be fully vaccinated as the class is outdoors. the class is 1 hour long and is held outdoors at our training field at the balloon tree farm shop, gate helmsley, york. £20 per dog.

FUN “GUNDOG SCURRY” workshop
Scurry is a dog activity usually aimed at gundogs but any breed can take part. It involveS the dogs searching for and retrieving an item and bringing it back to the handler. The dogs will have to navigate obstacles, such as jumping hay bales to find their hidden item. Great for active dogs that love to search and retrieve!

Dog Parkour workshop
Teach your dog to navigate different obstacles with cues such as “under”, “over”, “go around” and “paws up” to build confidence and connection. Dog Parkour is a great way to make adventures with your dog more interactive and fun and this class will begin to teach your dogs the skills and give you ideas to practice at home and on walks.

“Day at the races” fun workshop
come and join our themed workshop… “day at the races”!
during this fun workshop you and your dog will take part in some race themed games and training exercises, such as:
parade ring - lead walking practice
flat race - recall practice
steeplechase - fun with the agility jumps
ladies day hats - scent work game
plus races themed trick training!
this class is 1.5 hours long and costs £25 per dog. the class is held outdoors at the balloon tree farm shop, gate helmsley, york.
saturday 23rd may at 11.00am
“sports day” fun workshop
come and join our themed workshop… “sports day”!
during this fun workshop you and your dog will take part in some sports day themed games and training exercises, such as:
egg and spoon race
tug-of-war
bean bag toss
obstacle race
plus sport game themed tricks
this class is 1.5 hour long and costs £25 per dog. the class is held outdoors at the balloon tree farm shop, gate helmsley, york.
saturday 30th may at 9.30am
mini bluebell dog photoshoot
come and join our mini photoshoot and social walk in the bluebells at beningbrough hall woods. following the photoshoot you will receive fully edited digital images of your dog in the bluebells in your own private online gallery where you can then download the images to print/use as you wish.
dogs must be comfortable around other dogs and people to attend. £35 per dog which includes your digital photos.
