Fun “Barn Hunt” Scent Work workshop

Barn hunt is a fun dog sport to get your dog using their brains and their noses! typcially dogs will search a barn envirnoment in the search for hidden rat tubes. in this workshop, we will teach the dogs to search for scented toy rats (no real rats here!) hidden amongst hay bales and other objects. this is a great activity to test your dogs searching skills, give them lots of mental stimulation and most of all, have lots of fun!

please note, the workshop is held in our training field, not in a barn.

suitable for dogs of any age but must be fully vaccinated as the class is outdoors. the class is 1 hour 15 minutes long and is held outdoors at our training field at the balloon tree farm shop, gate helmsley, york. £20 per dog.

imdt partnership grades taster class

As a member of the Institute Of Modern Dog Trainers, I am able to offer IMDT Partnership Grade classes. This is where dog and owners learn and complete different training exercises and challenges to achieve different graded levels from 1 to 6. (rosettes can be earned too!)

I am running a taster session for those that would like to find out more and start learning some of the grade 1 exercises:

• Sit with duration

• Down with duration

• Recall from 5 paces

• Inspection of ears, eyes and paws

• Chin Rest

suitable for dogs of all ages when fully vaccinated. the class is 50 minutes long and is held outdoors at our training field at the balloon tree farm shop, gate helmsley, york. £15 per dog.
