dogs and distractions
do you have a dog that gets easily distracted by things in the environment?

Do they find it hard to focus on you which then makes things like lead walking and recall difficult?
If yes, then this is the course for you!
This course is all about teaching your dog to focus on you and remain calm around distractions, such as other dogs, people, movement and items they want to get to.
this course will cover:
games to play to encourage your dog to choose you over distractions
teach your dog remain calm around distractions
exercises to improve lead walking, recall and preventing jumping up
teach your dog self control and frustration tolerance
this course is 3 weeks long with 3 x 50 minute classes. the course costs £55 and the classes are held at our training field at the balloon tree farm shop, gate helmsley, york.
**Please note- this course is not for dogs who are aggressive or overly reactive. please contact me if you are unsure if this course is right for you and your dog.
